The Mantrailing V harness is designed for all types of tracking work. The tie-in point that is set back helps to optimally distribute the pull on the harness so that the neck sits quietly on the dog and does not slip up or down.

The dog always has a free throat and neck area regardless of the position in which it holds its head.

The harness can be adjusted in the back length so the optimal angle for the leash can be set.

The Mantrailing V harness has been tested by professional dog handlers and has proven itself in the field.

These are specialised harnesses for mantrailing, tracking and pulling sports so it is important to adjust the harness correctly to protect the dog from any potential injury. Please ask an experienced handler/competitor if you are unsure of how to fit the harness, or contact us for help, or refer to the video below.

NB. Grossenbacher harnesses are sized by breed and weight, not by girth measurement. (The girth straps on Grossenbacher harnesses generally have a very large range of adjustment.) The best way to get the correct size for your dog is to come into the fitting studio and try them on. If you order online you may need to exchange if the first size you purchase isn't quite right.

The standard sizes we offer in the Mantrailing V harness are 4XS up to L. Other sizes (7XS to 3XL) can be ordered on request - please contact us if you would like to order a size that is not in the drop down list. Sometimes we may have sizes outside 4XS-L in stock. These are shown in the drop down size menu on this page. If in stock the variant will say "Add to Cart".

Colours currently available from Harbour City Dog Gear are as per the colour selection drop down list on this page. Some photos in the gallery are of colours that may no longer be available.

Backorders
Backorders are available in the standard colours that are stocked at Harbour City Dog Gear (see drop down colour menu in listing above). Limited Edition colours are not available for backorder. Grossenbacher backorders usually ship to you in 8-9 weeks   (everything is hand-made to order in Switzerland, hence the long waiting time).
Your order is sent when every product in your order is in stock and ready to be posted together. If you would like an in-stock item to be posted earlier, please place separate orders.
Backorders are exchangeable.

Custom Colour Orders
The wait for custom orders can be up to 3 months, depending on where we are in our order cycle and the workload/holiday season in Switzerland.
Custom orders cannot be returned/exchanged (except as per Australian Consumer Law). Please ensure you know what size will fit by coming into the fitting studio and trying them on your dog if possible, so you are not disappointed when a custom order doesn't fit and can't be exchanged.
When placing an order for a Grossenbacher 'Custom Colour' harness, please include your requested base colour, edge colour and strap colour in the order notes. We will then check and confirm your order and advise the ETA.

Base colour (Stofffarbe) choices L-R: Petrol, Wine red, Pink, Bright orange, Bright yellow, Olive, Black, Grey, Royal blue, Beige, Violet (pinky-purple)
Edge colour (Einfassfarbe) choices L-R, T-B: Red, Cherry red, Bordeaux, Bright pink, Pink, Bright orange, Sunny yellow, Bright yellow, Bright green (lime), Dark green, Olive, Dark brown, Beige, Grey, Black, Marine blue, Royal blue, Turquoise, Light blue, Violet (purple).
Strap colour (Gurtfarbe) choices: Black, Grey.
Colours are indicative only and may not be exactly the same as the colours of the fabric.

NB. We emphasise again: custom orders cannot be exchanged or returned. When you place an order for a custom harness you are agreeing that the item cannot be changed/returned/exchanged.
